Project Description
A 20-acre solar facility has been proposed for a 43-acre property on Hoffmanville Road near the Carroll County Line. Because the proposed project would produce between 1 and 2 megawatts, Baltimore County’s Development Review Committee considered its request for a limited exemption, meaning the project would not go through a development hearing, nor would a Community Input Meeting be required. Valleys Planning Council is challenging the Department of Permits, Applications, and Inspections decision to grant the limited exemption. The hearing is being scheduled for later this year.
