County Executive Johnny Olszewski is holding his second annual series of town hall meetings to hear from constituents about their ideas and priorities. The 2020 round of meetings began earlier this month with the town hall meeting in District 2. The District 3 meeting is coming up on Tuesday, February 25 at Dulaney High School, 255 East Padonia Road in Lutherville.

Agency staff are available for informal discussion from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m., and the town hall meeting starts at 6. The county executive and district councilman will make brief remarks, then open the floor to comments. We expect several people to speak on the need for additional local funds for land preservation. If you would like to support those speakers, please plan to attend the meeting and be prepared to stand in support.

Anyone may speak on any budget issue of concern, but the time is limited to two minutes. When you arrive, please sign the attendance sheets. There is no sign-up for speakers. Instead, those wishing to make comments line up and speak on a first-come, first-serve basis. To get a good spot in line, come early and grab a seat near the microphones stationed in the audience area.

We hope you can attend and show your support for land preservation.
