Come celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Maryland’s Rural Legacy Program with a guided hike on some of Baltimore County’s most beautiful farms in the Piney Run Rural Legacy Area, administered by Land Preservation Trust. Rural Legacy has preserved more than 900 properties statewide, adding more than 125,000 acres to Maryland’s total of nearly 2 million preserved acres.

Land Preservation Trust and Valleys Planning Council are teaming up to show off some of Baltimore County’s preserved lands with a hike on October 20 (rain date October 27).

Start time 2 pm on Saturday, October 20. This guided hike is 3 miles with some elevation change and should last about 2 hours. Come to 4017 Black Rock Road to the open gate. Follow the driveway and markers to the parking area.

$25 per person (children 10+ are welcome free of charge) includes refreshments!
