The purpose of the VPC Endowment Fund is to provide permanent funding to further the mission of The Valleys Planning Council. The assets of the Fund are managed in such a way as to facilitate the organization’s goals and objectives as outlined by the Board of Directors.
The income and/or market appreciation earned by the Fund is considered unrestricted revenue only after the Fund reaches $500,000 (or the sum of the permanently restricted original donations to the Fund, whatever is greater) and may be distributed to the VPC as general support revenue for its programs.
