Negotiations are underway to sell the property. The county Development Review Committee recently reviewed a request to subdivide the property to allow the sale of the building to a new buyer and allow the present owner to retain the southern end of the property. The property has been bisected by in-fee strips to accommodate a utility corridor and I-695. The VPC has a restrictive covenant on the property and is working with involved parties.
