The Baltimore County Planning Board will be asked to review documents and make another recommendation regarding the proposed 62-lot subdivision on the Chestnut Ridge Golf Club property. This will mark the third time the zoning reclassification of the property has been on the Planning Board agenda. The item is expected to be introduced at the January 16 meeting, with a public hearing and vote at a subsequent meeting. During hearings in December before the Baltimore County Board of Appeals, substantive documents were entered into evidence by the petitioner along with expert testimony, and the Board determined that the documents first needed to be reviewed by Department of Planning staff and the Planning Board. The hearing before the Board of Appeals was suspended while the documents are submitted for review. Established hearing dates for the reclass case before the Board of Appeals in January were thus postponed. Those hearings are expected to resume on March 25 and 26, with additional dates to be added in May.
