The Valleys Planning Council represents approximately 500 members within a 130-square-mile area of northwestern Baltimore County. While the geographic scope of the Council's work is limited to this area, studies, and legal precedents often have a county-wide (or wider) impact. The VPC has been at the forefront of land use planning and preservation techniques for more than four decades.
